OSCAR WILDE: A ROMANIAN BIBLIOGRAPHY OF TRANSLATIONS

In 2002, Irina Istratescu (University of Bucharest) very kindly supplied a list of Wilde's translations into Romanian.  This was published in THE OSCHOLARS Volume II No 5, May 2002. It was expanded and updated, including details of Wildean performances and criticism by Florina Tufescu (Dalarna University) and Chris Tanasescu (University of Bucharest), in February 2008. This new edition was compiled by Camelia Stumbea (“M. Eminescu” Central University Library, Iasi), Chris Tanasescu (University of Bucharest) and Florina Tufescu (Dalarna University) in April 2009.

This is a selective bibliography, published to encourage additional research on Wilde in Romania. A complete bibliography is in preparation and will be published by Camelia Stumbea with Iasi University Press. Meanwhile, additions and corrections to the list below are welcome and will be fully acknowledged (Florina.Tufescu@gmail.com)
