As any editor of Moore's works will tell you, Edwin Gilcher's phrase 'bibliographic jungle' hardly does justice to his own work on Moore's bibliography. For anyone who is really interested in following through the various redrafts and alterations Moore undertook to his works across his career, Gilcher's meticulous work, first published in A Bibliography of George Moore (Dekalb, Ill.: Northern Illinois University Press, 1970) and augmented by his Supplement volume remains the key source for information. This page is not meant to approach anything like the comprehensiveness of those volumes; instead, this is a listing of the main publications of Moore's work in his lifetime. New materials from Moore's periodical publications are being discovered by researchers like Dr Brendan Fleming, and this page will be updated with additional references as and when undiscovered materials come to light. To submit information or indicate errors and omissions in the following, please email me: m.e.llewellyn@liverpool.ac.uk

The following represents an outline Bibliography of Moore's works listing only English editions at present and organised first by year and then by genre. Subsequent issues will see this page being updated to include US and European editions (in the case of the latter, also translations); there will also be expansion to incorporate non-book publications, including periodical texts.
